{ Brief } To design and build an e-commerce website in ASP.NET, to sell specialist DVDs. { Solution } First off front end props go to Jason for the styling and Dino at instinct dev for his help on the cart discounts.

This is the first site I've made in ASP.NET (my usual language being PHP : open source rules!!!) and after the initial learning curve / it not working in the way you would expect it to, I got on the job and made a top notch little e-commerce site.

The site has a bad ass back end which gives the administrator the ability to control general styling of the page (note different colours for each section, they can all be changed), text updates, price updates, usual stuff as well as being able to change all the flash banners in the site. It also has a lovely little advert / coming soon section with the ability to associate adverts to pages and sections and give them a ranking order and a link; not just images flash too.

It also has an international section which is a smart page. Now here's the clever bit, to make the pages more search engine efficient each section has its own page created by the system when a new category is created.
