[ Royal Society Of Chemistry: Perkin Exhibit // Mini Site ]

{ Brief } To design and produce a CSS website to at least priority 1 web standards celebrating the 150th anniversary of the discovery of mauveine. { Solution } The exhibit had to appeal to a younger audience so I started by using a lot of imagery. Each section is designed around the sections of which there are 5; Mauveine - The Discovery and Inventor, Chemical Industry, Purple in Nature, Fashion and Dye Stuffs and Fun and Facts.

Extra fun elements are added with flash, my personal favorite is the mollusc on Purple in nature. Big shout out to Kam for helping with the graphics, as always this was a tight deadline but I did it (with a little help) and not only did I get a priority 1 but I got 2 and 3 as well :)
