[ Leigh Palmer // Website ]

{ Brief } To produce an online CV and portfolio for Leigh Palmer. { Solution } Leigh has a great set of work but he wasn't displaying it to it's full potential. So first things first we set about looking at a mostly re-writing his CV. The CV was going to be the basis for the website so we started with the foundations and worked upwards.

After the CV was recrafted into excellance, it was time to start on the website. I wanted to show Leighs style (heavy metal and tattoos) in the site while making it highly professional. I started with a really clean and simple design adding in tribal style swirls into the header and keeping it in dark colours with a yellow hi-light colour to draw the eye to important information.

The site builds on his CV and gives any future employer a lot more information than his CV alone. I used a consistant download CV box under the left navigation so any one coming on the site can grab something for reference. The site breaks down all of Leighs skills into managable bit size chucks which are easliy read and digested. His portfolio section is broken up into projects with an overview of the brief, solutions and any problems encounted.

The site was a great success and Leigh has found it an extremly useful tool in his search for a new job.
